SJ Quarter Horses My love affair with Quarter Horses began after
one of our liveries joined us. At first I have to admit I was not overly enamored by their looks - they looked too muscled up for my liking - but I was bowled over by their temperament. What was
a toe in the water with a 5 month filly, soon became a small group of mares, and thus I was sold! I won't explain the history behind the breed or indeed the breed standards as there are far better websites for that,
what I will say is this - if you are looking for a horse that can turn its hand at anything and yet remain calm and trustworthy then you really should look at the breed. Our small group of mares have strong reining
and cutting foundation bloodlines and our aim is to breed a couple of sound foals each year. We, like most people, will be breeding for confirmation and temperament. Let me introduce you to them:
